I checked bad Honda transmission and RPM went to exact standard stall speed and then didn't go higher. Engine kept running. Is that what supposed to happen or engine should stop?
Thanks.
I am transmission beginner, repaired 1.5 transmissions so far.
I only repaired valve body. What is interesting, I repaired Impala valve body according to Honda manual, using 600 sandpaper.
Then I repaired Honda Goldwing starter according to Harley repair manual.

Suggest you do not repair Vette with Honda or Harley manual :~).
I suggest you don't "attempt" to repair any Harley's either.
Are you sure you know what "stall speed" means?
My Harley is fine, it runs great, I will paint it after I am done with Vette.
99 FLHTCUI, what do you have?
I don't know what stall speed means, that is why I ask questions about it.

Here's a quick and simple read that may answer your stall questions
I've noticed that you have a number of posts on parts availability and tool requirements. You would do well to get a FSM (Factory Service Manual) for the specific vehicle you are trying to fix.
Relative to stall speed testing, keep in mind that stall testing generates a lot of heat in the transmission. Repeated stall operation may shorten transmission life.
