Thanks for the heads up Jon. You rebuilt the ones I bought from corracer who told me it was from an '84 Vette. Apparently not.

Now I'm screwed / ripped off and into all this for $200 with nothing to show for it but frustration and no vehicle for a couple weeks.

I trusted user corracer or Vince who sells allot of stuff on this forum - looks like he even runs a racing business in Vero Beach, Florida.

He told me in numerous emails the throttle body came out of an '84 Vette - I asked him multiple times to be absolutely sure. Here is the final response before I pulled the trigger:

IM selling just the crossfire injection throttle bodies from a 84 the only year they were on a corvette......... VINCE

Jon - I've pulled my originals and will send them to you FedEx overnight (another $50 to ship and $75 to rebuild). I'm freaking fuming now.

In the meantime, I am hoping Vince will take back the unit and reimbursement me $200 for the parts and your rebuilt injectors - that would only be fair in my book.

Hello Vince - corracer - Vero Beach?????

PLEASE POST or email me and lets settle this quickly and fairly: dchoran@athenet.net

dave When they came in for a rebuild it never dawned on me that they were not out of your vette. I should have checked the PN, They all look alike and in vince's defense I see a lot of truck and camaro TBI injectors that get into vettes by used car dealers and shops that don't realize they are different. I would say that they were in a vette but. vince didn't know they were not right, He just assumed like most of us do. So, for that I will rebuild your stock units for free. Actually, the injectors you have are desirable, you can try to sell them on the third gen forum,
Jon

My bad for not checking. Sorry and i will reimburse your sale from me !!!!! As far as your rebuild guy get him to reimburse you for his shortsight.

I had a problem with an Ebay fuel injector rebuilder. I ordered new Bosch injectors and got used crap injectors that were not the right size. The guy refused to refund my money. I had to file a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office. It took me 3 months to get my money back.

I swore back then that I would never buy any used parts on the internet. It's too easy to get burned.

Sometimes the seller makes an honest mistake but mistakes can be very costly. Too many deals are going wrong and Ebay does nothing. The guy that sold me the injectors is still doing business on Ebay.

FIC has a very good reputation. Jon will always treat his customers right.

I hope you guys can settle your problems.

I told you i would reimburse you for my end , and here you are slandering me. I have done plenty of sales here ,and not 1 problem . And you are the first in which there is a problem. You slimy no backbone slanderer you want to try to cause a big problem after i thought we had resolved it. Just remember you started this!!!!!. You should get you head out of your azz and listen to what jon told you . I gave you what info i had gotten on that crossfire set up . But you just show everyone how much of a azz you are and keep runnin your mouth,

I plan to return the throttle bodies and BRAND NEW rebuilt FIC injectors to Vince on April 30th (one week) UNLESS I get a better offer than $115. REMEMBER these are newly rebuilt by FIC for $75 - and you get all the other stuff too

Thanks Dave H.

I purchased the crossfire intake w/ T.B.Is . and was told it was from a 84 vette. it did not come with air cleaner, or filter ( i would have know it wasn't for a vette if it had a camaro air cleaner assembly with it), i never checked the numbers on the T.B.I. s ( as i am sure you noticed when you got them because the units were as dirty as they were when i got them i never cleaned them because i wasn't using them in my project).I do not feel fully responsable for the added cost in rebuilding the units , BUT I DO FEEL BAD THAT JON GOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS. i will give you the 115.00 back . post this on the forum .
