I took 94 motor apart today and recalled how I repaired 84 motor about a year ago. I went to junk yard, took apart motor from some 98-00 Buick. Motor was different but brushes were the same. I am pretty sure w.motors stop working because brush springs rust and break. If I could buy springs it would be $1 repair. Even brushes were OK.
I am going to junk yard tomorrow. Important thing to get brushes from rear door, they are almost never used.
I would guess that any 94 GM car has the same motors. the mechanism would be different though.
I found that on the early window motors, GM (or the supplier) uses some tar like gunk to seal out the water when it rains and when you wash the car.
This tar oozes into the motor, and holds the brushes solid. When the brushes wear a little, they start to arc, and then lose contact, and the motors quit.

I brought brushes from 02 Buick Century. Connector is different so I took connector also. Brush holder is different so I used old one. I could take brushes from some car close to 94 but I wanted newer one.
