leaf spring thread count
i forgot to count the threads on my leaf springs when i did my u joints. Any body know how many should be exposed from the bottom of the nut? any help appreciated.

I assume rear spring...
If stock I seem to remember they are castle nuts and there should be a hole in the bolt that the cotter pin goes through to secure the nut. That determines where the nut goes.

For the factory rear bolts and nuts.But if you have aftermarket lowering bolts, you probably won't have a hole in them for a cotter pin.
Those use a nylock nut that is self locking. In that case just run them up so you have about 1/4" of bolt showing.
