Brake Line Installation
I broke my brake line while installing SS brake hoses. I am getting some new line tomorrow but I have never installed any before. Can anyone offer me suggestions about what I should do to? I really want to get the Corvette back out on the road. I have a 1991 Coupe.

MANDATORY: before installation, blow all new tubing out with compressed air,if no compressor in your billet take the tubing somewhere that has air...cover the ends of the tubing with electrical tape to exclude dirt while installing...to get the old fittings off, CUT the 'departed' line right next to the end fittings and use a SIX point socket on the old fittings (use of any other tool may round off the tube nut, huge pita)..use compressed air, or if no air, a small brush to remove dirt at the connection before final removal so that no dirt falls/enters the new ...use a 'tube fitting' wrench to install the new fittings, with a TINY dab of grease on the fitting nut threads and on the backside of the tubing where the nut will bear on the flare, do NOT get grease inside the female part of the fitting.
