Vats

Can anyone tell me where the VATS for the fuel pump and starter system are located on a 1985. Thanks

On my 86 the vats module is located under the dashboard behind the passenger side "breadbox"

There is no VATS system on an 85, only a "Theft Deterent Controller", and it only interrupts the starter circuit.
What's the problem your having ?
The controller is tucked under the passenger side dash, near the ECM.

what does it look like. My car sometimes wont crank. Turn the key and thats it. No cranking at all. I have a bypass button to start it to not get stranded but I am getting tired of it.
