Default Interior Leak Under Dash???

OK, I have a strange leak that I feel can cause some problems if not fixed...
Here are the pics, can you guys help me out? Where can this water be coming from?

Thanks!

And also, this seal is not doing its job but the weatherstripping is good. Any suggestions?

I have the leak on the door and kick panel too, I believe the water runs down the door and into the kick panel.

that leak could be a leaky heater core. Does it smell like anti-freeze??

Im pretty sure it doesnt smell... There is also no fog coming out of the vents. I used the A/C for the first time in a while, but no heat... It was raining very hard and I think it is a leak somewhere but I dont even know where to begin.

I will double check though, you never know! Thanks for the input!

Yeah, but why? The door weatherstripping is in great condition... Is there a solution or fix? I tried a piece of rolled up garbage bag to slide under the weatherstripping. I hoped it would give a stronger seal but it obviously didn't work...

I would let the car dry out and then do a leak down with a garden hose. I'd start by letting the water run right where your front door meets the fender, near the side view mirror, but no higher. Let it run for a bit and then check the interior for leaks. You might find the leak is coming in around the door seal and traveling behind the hush panel or vent.

If you don't find your leak, I'd move the hose up to the screened area above the wiper transmission. I doubt it's the heater core, my $$ is on a door or A pillar seal.

Yeah, I will be giving that a try very soon! Thanks for the idea!

What I really want to focus on now is the leak that has water coming from under the dash because that worries me a lot!
I want to find that ASAP!

Did you find the leak in the dash? I have the same thing and appears to have killed my ECM. Would appreciate any ideas as to where to look.

My '86 had the same problem, with the water coming in under the dash, it ended up being the windshield wasn't sealed properly after being replaced. Has your windshield been replaced recently?

No, I didnt find the problem, it hasnt reoccurred so until then I will leave it... That day was a really bad day rain wise, it was pouring really hard (noreaster) so it might have just been wet from that...
