Thinking about buying some drag radials, will they work?
there's a set of 255/60 16" on Ebay right now for $80. They're BFG Drag Radials, 75% tread left. I have a 275/40 17 up front on a 17x9½ rim. Will these tires work on my factory vette 16x9½ rims? (while running the 275/40 17's up front) Thanks!

I don't even know that the speedo would be off. Maybe it would, a bit. The 16" rim is smaller than the 17" (duh), but the 255/60 is taller than the 275/40. I had 255/50s then switched to 275/40s and there was no difference. There are formulas floating around that will help you out and tell you what, if any, change you'll make.
