Default Things that go THUMP!

Having an issue with my 94. It has a highly modded 383 with a vortech. Puts out around 700hp. The issue is with the tranny. When u get on it the shifter literaly moves forward a couple inches and You sometime here what sounds like the tranny tail shaft hitting the floorboard. I have been underneath and nothing appears broken. Anyone got some advise?

Check the C-Beam bolts, they may be loose.

Got exhaust off (a 10 min job on my car) C-beam bolts are tight....but I'm guessing that it (C-beam) should be flat and not look like this..lol. This begs the question..does anyone offer something stronger in the aftermarket? Hmm can't figure out how to load a pic on the tread, but the triangulated sross section the bars are warped.

Well it was off to the scrap heap! It looked as if at one time the bolts had come loose. They were tight but you could see that they had shifted slightly. The up and down diagnal bars were not strait up and down more of a wave shape. I'm guessing they were not tightened well enough after the clutch was replaced(before I bought the car). Then someone tightened them, but the damage was already done, considering the car had had this issue since I bought it.
The long and short of it is the original owner spent about 25,000 in mods and labor. It doesn't even run the seperate fmu and boost retard for the vortech, he spent 2,400 having the pcm dyno tuned to run with the engine combo and supercharger on 93 oct.
Then a kid bought it had it for a few months and couldn't figure out some of the things that went wrong(like the fact he put a non-venting gas cap on and burned up the secondary fuel pump) So I picked it up at a VERY good price and have been fixing little things.
