1984 corvette charging problem
new member NEED HELP.my 1984 vette will only read 12 volts and will drop to like 11.6 after awhile i put a new battery and had the altenator tested altenator tests perfectly but i still can't get 14 volts out of it can anybody give me any suggestions on how to solve this issue if so can u e-mail me the answers to beamerman325@yahoo.com thank u

It's got to the the alternator. Put in a new/rebuilt one and you should be good to go. If you just bought the car, maybe it has underdrive pulleys and at idle speed, the alternator is not charging the battery enough. Just a thought.
