All Back up lights are out (automatic)
Can someone answer a question for me. I have a 88 automatic and all the back up lights are out. Fuse is good. My Chevy electric manual says there is a Tranmission Position Switch under the console that says I can adjust or replace this switch. Can it be adjusted or should find a new switch? Need lights to pass inspection.

Check to see if you are getting 12 volts to the bulb contacts. If so, change bulbs. If not, possibly new switch needed. Jump the wires going in and out of the switch in the console and see if you get lights before you buy a new switch.
