Default Will a R-D Racing X-Brace installation solve this problem?

I removed my T-Top over the weekend and apon taking a short drive down the freeway i noticed the front end shimming and the car in general shaking but i've read that this problem is common with all C4 corvettes so i was thing that the solution to my problems lies with installing a R-D Racing X-Brace, so will the R-D Racing X-Brace eliminate this issue created when i remove my T-Top?
thanks boonie

First thing I would do is to check all 4 tires for proper balancing. If the car has sat for a long period of time, the tire may have "flat-spotted" and it will take some time for that to work out (maybe 30-50 miles depending on the brand and model of the tire) by building up some heat in the tire. Also have the tires checked for any out of round condition.

Also, what was the road surface like? If the tires are OK in terms of balance and being round, then a smooth surface like a freeway should provide a smooth ride.

C4 "cowl-shake" is experienced by a number of owners. but before you spend a few hundred dollars on something that will lower the car's ground clearance, it's easier to check the little things.

I had the same problem with mine.I installed the R-D Camber Brace and it improved some.I installed the Cross Frame and it went away. The car feels flatter and has a sharper turn in and just feels tighter everywhere.
It does sacrifice some ground clearance. That doesent bother me and I have lowered mine as well.I stay away from speed bumps and sharpinclines into parking lots/driveways and all is well.I did that before anyway.
