Default Roller Cam Motor?

Quick question in regards to my constant new discoveries. 86 Coupe 4+3. removed TPI to clean and paint and install new injectors and this is what I find.
Already know that the heads are not supposed to be aluminum (early production number), and when I installed LT Headers I noticed that I have a very small starter with no "nose cone".
Is it a roller motor?

Hmmmm, the investigation continues. Sucks not having any service history.

Yes it is roller motor. You are seeing the spider springs (flat metal in center of the valley) that reached out between the valves and hold the "dog bones" in place. These dog bones look like a figure 8 that has been squared. These hold the roller hydraulic lifters from twisting in the bore.

You have more than you thought you had.

Great find.
