Help me name this hose?
This little hose connects to the throttle body down to the block. What is the name of it and where can I get one? Would NAPA have one or do I need to order it? Thanks a lot. TM
P.S. If I ever get this car back together it will be a miracle. God bless the forum.

THROTTLE BODY TO INTAKE HEATER HOSE
You can find the listing for this on Corvette Central's web site. You should be able to get this through most parts stores.....or do the TB by pass and eliminate it all together.

Why not bypass the TB. Eliminates a hose, 2 clamps and future leaks.

What do you mean bypass the throttle body. And thanks everyone for the posts, I'll order one from Corvette Central. Thanks

Unless you live in a cold weather state, bypass the throttle body. It circulates warm water in and out of the throttle body to keep it from icing in cold weather. Also heats up the intake charge in warm weather which will reduce hp. Leave it off if you don't need it. Plug it or connect the 2 hoses, one into and one out of the throttle body.

Consider cutting/grinding off the IAC housing's hose nipples after the bypass. Looks much better.

Is there any downside to plugging the hose? I just replaced the upper rad hoses, and don't want to just toss them.

Yeah, if you drive your Vette in below freezing weather then you can potentially have a problem...

Not a problem for me. It's a summertime toy only.
