For ultimate cooling, bypass the radiator. Some people in cooler climates will go first through the radiator (don't have to drain the thing) and then to the cooler, then back to the tranny. This will help with tranny warmup during the winter. For racing, I just have the cooler.

Thanks, I will just use the cooler, if I don't like it I guess I could change the set up.
Many Trans Coolers manufacturers recommend the coolers be installed in Series with the radiator for street applications or also, installing an electric fan on the trans cooler.
For Racing applications, the trans cooler must be very large and an electric fan is a must.

I'll keep that in mind, but this is a pretty large unit, and the most btu's I could find.
