On my 86 the space from the rear tire to the tire well is 3". Front tire is 1 1/4 " Air dam scraps ON every little bump in the road. Is there some adjustment to raise the front of car to match the rear. Thanks for any help. Steve
The air dam and nose of the car are forward of the front spindles lowering the rear will bring anything forward of the front wheels/tires up ....it may not be much but it may be enough....
For example my 95 is pretty darn low to the ground, but the only times I drag the air dam when leaving my driveway is when my fuel level is nearing 1/3 of a tank and the tail is pretty darn high when compared to the front.
