90 Tire question

90 Tire question

Hi all.

I have to replace my worn tires on all four corners of my 90.
Could someone please advice me about the tire choice?

Tire sizes are:
F:255/45/ZR17
R:285/40/ZR17

I have two choices available in the market here in Japan.

1.Firestone Firehawk
2.Continental Extremecontact DW

I have no idea which is better because I have no experience with both of them.

I would like to listen to your opinions, experiences or recommendations.

Any inputs would be welcome.

when i get ready to replace the tires on my 90, most likely i'll be selecting firestone wideovals. for me, they seem like the best bang for the buck.

I would go with 275/40R17 all around if you have stock size wheels. Then you can rotate front to back.
