Just started having a brake issue, When I push the pedal it is hard and the glides to a stop, If I drive it a little bit the brakes are better but not what they need to be. Front pads are new ( 2 months) rear are about 50%. Vacuum is fine to the booster, no leaks @ the wheel cylinders, new master cylinder (2months). Check valve on the booster is good.
Booster is not making a whooshing sound when brakes are applied that indicates a bad booster, Could the booster be weak or am I missing something?
If the booster isn't working properly, one other area to check is the vacuum take-off on the intake manifold. I've had problems there before with split hose ends bleeding off the vacuum signal.
Also, check the in-line valve to the booster that protects against backfires. If installed improperly, it would prevent a strong vacuum signal from getting to the booster. Good Luck!
