94 LTI code 43 (knock sensor)
my 94 has the check engine light come on the go right off. so I pulled the code using a Snap-on scanner and got that. I run 92 octane gas all the time and I do not hear any odd noise while the light is on.

As I understand it, code 43 means that there is trouble with the KS circuit not that the knock count exceeded any threshold. The KS circuit is one wire that splits into two, one for each sensor. Were it mine, I'd disconnect one KS at a time and see if it the code tracks to one KS or the other.

I "fixed" my intermittent knock circuit code by replacing both of them.
Had to pull them for draining the coolant anyway so I just put new ones in there.
No more codes for it after that.

Check the sensor connectors for grease/grime build-up, too. That can also cause them to throw a false code. Use a shot of electrical contact cleaner on 'em. Took care of the problem for me!
