Default need advice

I replaced the master and slave cylinder, for about 20 pumps the clutch pedal was mushy, then it became like the brake pedal will only go down about half way. Any help???

I am asking, because if you leave the push rod out during bleeding, once you close the slaves bleeder, the next stroke of master will push the slave's plunger to the retainer. It's maxed out now, no place for pedal to go now.
If the push rod is in place, maybe the clutch fork slipped off of the ball stud ?

No need to remove the slave.....you should be able to push the plunger back in, away from the retainer, but you will be pushing fluid back into the master. If the pushrod is missing, just put it back in between the clutch and slave.
