Need some urethane bushings for my front and rear sway bar end links for my 96. Anyone know who makes them?

Thanks

I couldn't believe the difference in handling my car had after installing them. Especially the front.

I bought a "kit" from Summit Racing that had the sway bar and end link bushings when I did my suspension.

Yeah, I've got to look for some rear end link bushings for my 89. As I was pulling the halfshaft and disconnected the end link from the knuckle. And then swung the end link out of the way and that cracked the bushing. I see Autozone has some stock style for the rear with the inner and outer sleeve, but they want $25. Haha, I figured I'd look at something else.

I got mine from Corvette Central, they sell a kit for the rear sway bar, all 4 bushings. I just swapped them out in my 85 and it does make a difference. I will do the front as well when I get a chance.

I just ordered the front sway bar kit from Autozone, $22. (The other company I listed didn't have them in stock)

I don't normally hear of urethane bushings wearing out in a year.

But there are different makers of the urethane bushings. Most known would probably be Energy Suspension. There also is Prothane. Lots of debate at which is better.

I believe there is another company making bushings that is something different than urethane that doesn't need grease.

I have heard urethane bushings cause an even more brutal ride quality. We like to go on weekend trips, not canyon carving. Are they appropriate?

I got tighter handling, but not a rougher ride. Just did mine recently, (all except front control arms), and so far I love the difference it made.

This is something I am worried about too.

I do care a lot about racetrack performance, but also drive my car on the street.

Id hate to lose all of my ride compliance.

If I hit a small pothole, I dont want to bend a control arm or something.

I think on some of the items like front and rear control arm bushings, you have to go urethane. As I don't think you can get the regular rubber bushings as GM wants to sell you a new control arm.
