I just got a mini ram but where do you put the mat sensor?

Relocate it.

TPIS and Corvette Central sell kits, or you can make your own.

The only relocation I did was to lay it on the lower part of the manifold. I secured it with a plastic tie. It's been like that for two years. I figure it's getting a more accurate temp reading there, then located in the air intake housing. Of course I don't have a air intake housing since I'm supercharged.

I have never had a problem.

I put mine in the air filter housing. Use a drill just slightly smaller than the sensor. This way the sensor will cut some threads as it screws in. I also put some glue on it and extended the wire.
