Go to Harbor Freight and buy a set of offset wrenches. I forget what the exact size is for these, but a whole set is like $15. It's tight quarters in there, but that is all I needed to get the job done.

Offset wrench. Check the size you need on the new sensor, somewhere around 21mm IIRC...it's been a few years
I had my brother take a 7/8 socket, center on the internal flats and then machine the outside of the socket for a .015" wall to the internal hex peaks. Fits onto the switch and removes old and installs new switch perfectly!
