92 corvette flex plate
A friend of mine has a 92 vette and needs a flex plate. Is this flex plate the same as the F-body LT1's. Also, where is a good place to locate a used one. Thanks for your help.

Flex plates do exactly that - flex. Over time, they fatigue and crack. The cracks are right around the mounting bolt holes. The flexplate breaks and makes loud noises. Sometimes very expensive noises.
Don't buy used. Buy new. Support GM! (18carfan can give you a price - the part # has changed, so i can't look it up).
