I found this ad on craigslist. It's for a 93 camaro that has a completely brand new rebuilt engine. I spoke to the guy on the phone and he seems to know what he is doing. He currently has the heads off just put in new valve springs. Now, my plan is to get this car and take the engine out and put it into my 1994 C4 and then taking my current LT1 engine and swapping that back into the camaro, to give to my friend. My questions are how would i make this easy as possible? Is it a good idea? Also what are your opinion on this engine, is it a solid build for a corvette?
Boy thats a lot of work, hed have to have one heck of a head to get 500hp out of it too with that cam.
Not that its a huge deal but why is the surface rusted and fresh spray paint on the outside and inside (?!)of the block. Did he clean/drill hone and spray paint it in his driveway? Its been apart for awhile.
Id say just go buy another motor unless you really know the guy and are familiar with the car.
