Default Door Panel Fix...L Bracket

...for those you did the door panel fix using the L bracket, where did you get your brackets?? I've been to Lowes, Home Depot, Northern Tools, Ace and True Value. Most have a L bracket (one inch) but the hole is too small. From reading the forum posts and looking at the pic from the Corvette Fever article, it looks like you need a bracket that will take a 10mm bolt or screw. help!

...yup...that might be what I end up doing. The brackets I did find were one inch high X 1/2 inch wide. Everthing I've read not to exceed one inch. Does that sound right.

I wonder (don't laugh) if it's possible to use JB Weld on the bracket to the door? Just a thought!

Leave it to me to make a 'simple' process a major event.

I don't think I would use JB Weld. If all else fails resort to the screw trick, thats what I did
