Looking forward to taking the car to Gainesville (GatorNationals). It's about an hours' drive.
Going to Savannah Ga. (Roebling Road Raceway) in two weeks for weekend DE with the Porsche Club. Hope to be able to stick close to the GT3 Cup Porsches.
My a/c compressor vibrates like crazy at 2100 rpm (every gear and with clutch in). Turn it (compressor) off... no vibration. My builder tells me that the cam I selected 230-236 comp cam XFI280 i the cause? I like to hear if anyone has ever heard of cam causing a vibration.

I can't imagine why. I have a 230-240 in my 406 and have no vibration. Oh, also don't have ac.

I've noticed some amount of roughness with the A/C on in both of my C4s. One's a stock-engined '94 LT1, the other's a stock-engined LT4. With both cars, if I shut off the A/C, things get silky smooth again. I'm not sure it has much to do with your cam, although it sounds as though your vibration is much worse than what I'm feeling.
