OK I have or what I thought was stock timing chain ( single roller).
the new timing chain that I bought from summitracing (double roller)
The holes don't Line up.The old chain's hole is about the size of a nickel and the new chain's hole is about the size of a quarter
There is a corvette shop down the street called corvette performance
and they told me that the new chain Is the right size. They told me the cam might be after market. Let me know what you think thanks
The 87 and up roller cam motors take a different timing chain than earlier motors, yours looks to be stock for a roller cam motor. If you check further on Sumitt's website, you'll find the disclaimer about your new chain not fitting the roller cam motors. I found this out the hard way, luckily Summit is only about 90 min. from my house, so I ran my roller chain up and exchanged it for the right one.
