Default taking the EBTCM apart

96 LT4 - Can the EBTCM (ASR and ABS computer behind the driver seat) be separated from the ABS Brake Module without brake fluid going everywhere?

I may have to replace the computer part because the SERVICE ASR and ASR OFF lights stay on in my 96. Factory shop manual is a little ambiguous on this. Also, are the 2 torx screws on the top of the computer the only 2 that hold the 2 pieces (computer and brake module) together?

Hope this all made sense?

Thanks
walt z.
