Can anyone send me some pictures to malcolmmar@msn.com of your installed air pump eliminator kit. I bought one a couple of years ago but lost the instructions and am almost ready to start a new engine. Thanks to all who reply!
I had a reverse rotation Edlebrock (Corvette specific) on there and it was fine turning it normal rotation.
Now in that picture is a Weiand twisted snout type that I got in the for sale section. It's normal rotation and not a 3/4" shaft, I think it's 5/8". I had to get a bushing for it to fit the Corvette pulley. Anyways it didn't cost much but the 1 7/8" water outlet is a pain. I had to make a radiator hose adapter out of smaller hose for it. I should get rid of that brass plug on top too. Oh and it needed to be clearanced by the alternator bracket.

I would love to ditch the A/C and the smog pump.. I dont use either one for anything but the belt .What belt are you using Rodj ?? and thats the normal vette waterpump on there? It looks like you also removed the tensioner pulley?
wow no tensioner pulley ??? !!!
i already have a Corvette water pump as well...what if it rotates in the other way ?
I addressed that above. I ran it for a year doing street driving and track events, both road racing and drag racing, with no heat issues. I then found a deal on a normal rotation pump and sold mine for more then this other one cost, so I switched.
Here's a picture of an air pump delete modified with an idler instead of a pulley in conjuction with the air conditioner delete pulley. I still use the tensioner and have a Meziere water pump to eliminate the mechanical pump.

The adjustable brace to the Alt becomes your belt tensioner
I made one out of bar , Aardwolf used the old rear compressor brace and Mseven bought a fancy one
Using the stock pulleys I have a 1425mm belt
Gates # 6PK1425
You need to set it up then measure for belt as length will vary according to how/where you mount your alt.
