Default rear leaf spring broke

hi guys my rear leaf spring broke, were can i get a good new one? any ideas would help.

93, FE1, 6 sp,

I found the best deal at vette brakes and products (VB&P) they shipped it right away and its a quality piece.

It took about 20 minutes to install..

thanks, ill check them out, also any idea on labor charge for that job, right now its sitting at a shop that seems to be competent however i do not like to be over charged, they quoted me just under 300, if it only takes 20 min it sounds like it sould be less

$300 would be a good price if it includes the part.

Talk to these guys doing these coil over swaps. Should be lots of springs laying around. Cunningham will be done sometime this century.

Well I would guess they are gonna hit you for an hour.. since thats what the book calls for.. so about 70-90 bucks.

Seriously if you have a few minutes and a basic set of handtools you can change it in nothing flat. Jack it up, two long bolts on the outside and 4 small ones on the inside, pull the shims and spacers out, put the new spring in, four bolts in the middle and the two long ones on the outside.. all done. no spring compressors or anything like that.. a jack two jacktands and a couple wrenches. Gotta be the easiest spring i have ever changed. and while your at it.. get the longer bolts from VB&P and you are all set if you want to lower the rear end later.
