I have a lightly modified 1995 Lt1 vette. It runs 13.0's on the motor and 11.8's on the gas. I was considering adding a new torque converter. Can anyone recommend a good one for my application. The car does not have a traction problem right now on the motor with 315gsc's and doesn't really on the gas if the progressive controler is set correctly. I was thinking about getting one in the 2800stall range. Who makes the best price/quality in that range. Thanks.
I have a Yank 2600 should have went with the 3000 though! Very good so far only had it in for about 3 weeks! A lot of people like the Yank over the vigilante but to each his own I guess. :jester
2800 VIgilante stall Great choice. The are Yank guys out here and pro torque but Most C4 Guys do the Vigilante and most C5 guys do Yank and Pro-torque.
The pro: Yank and Vigilante- One time free upgrade... Pro torque No free upgrade
Cons: Price all cost at least $649( this is what I paid for my vigilante.
I think Yank and Pro-torque are more expensive
Vigilante makes the best TC's. Have you made a gear change also? And you need to get rid of those GSCs
So what makes vigilante the best im curious  Do you own a vigilanti? How are they better than yank or pro torque? Funny how peaple can claim one parts better without ever owning it :jester ...

Ive had vigilantes in other 700R4s and various transmissions before. They just dont break and the customer service is very good, plus being able to change your stall later once for free.
How fast are you running with your setup? I have a '94 Roadster and that's about the level of mods I'm looking at. Just curious what it did for you.
Thanks
I have not gotten any offical times. I can say without using juice. The stock C5's are no problem. This makes me think that I am doing extremly low 13 or possible even high 12 on motor!! Dont take my word for it. I copied 96redcoupe and he was doing 12.5 on this setup....No he does not have an Lt4 he has an A4(Lt1)
