braking -> good
dusting -> bad
In my case they dusted so incredibly that I pulled them, tossed them in the trash, and ate the lifetime warranty. This was after a 4 hours of intense labor trying to get the fused on dust off the wheels (it wipes down easy if you wash frequently, but I don't).

After that, there are a million aftermarket pad companies. Most of the stuff is marketing.
I have Carbon / Kevlar / Metalic's on my car now. Expensive but good pads. There are folks working on Carbon / Ceramic pads that look good but also expensive.
PF Z rated are a good buy (read cheap). Bed them properly and they don't squeel too much.
All depends upon what you want.

Check out my wheels, A lot of dust on the inside of the rim, but no issue for me
yes, they do dust like crazy but they stop really well when warm. Stop GREAT when hotter. I don't have a problem with them ruining the finish, I have chrome wheels. I Like them.

Changed to PFZ pads when I changed to J55 brake option (13"). Might be the best mod that I've done.
Braking is outstanding. Not much dusting in normal driving. Wheels clean up quickly & easily. No problems. Highly recommended.

After 2000 miles on the PF pads, I took them back to AutoZone and got a standard set.
To me, there is no doubt that the PF pads increase braking performance substantially; but, I won't let them ruin my wheels.
I now, as of yesterday, have the C5 brakes with ceramic pads on my '92. After using the PF pads on the J55 brakes, I think PF pads with the C5 brakes would be an exceptional combination -- but, I won't even try them, I like my AFS wheels too much. Besides, the red Z06 calipers won't look good dusty.

They squeal a little when they are warm as well, but they stop and stop well. They take heat VERY well. For example I was at the track and made about 6 back to back passes, when I crossed the traps on the last pass, my brake pedal fell to the floor? I had boiled my brake flluid. This wasn't totally unexpected, being that the fluid was original, I'm sure the boiling point was low. The point being that the pads never started to fade at all, they felt great until the fluid actually boiled. So, get some really good fluid and flush your system when you install these pads, you won't be disappointed.
