B and M cables are crap, search at third gen, you'll see...
b and m don't make a 32 and besides I fried 2, they are crap, I had to sell the pro ratchet shifter and go stock, should have done that in the first place.

This is obviously a heat related issue. Have you come up with a way to block any of it? Exhaust wrap maybe? That cable is a Bi##h to change. Mine has been in there for less than a year.
heat shields, exhaust wrap, rerouting, the b and m design sicks they run copper strands longitudinal to the cable, this allows for ballooning and chafing, go read third gen, the action is stiff and you'll need to drop the pan to bend the detent spring to be able to release it from Park.
don't throw your money away, the B and M tech will not help as well, he will be rude, every one I know will buy 2 or 3 cables, this is their bread and butter....
go stock, slick and creamy smooth don't even know it's there...

Thanks again! I ordered a stock one this morning. Also some heat wrap tape.
I haven't had any problems with the cable or shifter....but then again I did spend some time on the set-up. This locking in park buisness is because of adjustment and making sure that the trans can click into any position without the cable being bound or sressed, and the same goes with the shifter (revese lock out on the shifter throws it off a bit, but easy enough to fix).
The b&m cables I am aware of are for their shifters and will not work with a stock shifter (due to the ends, and trans lever) if that was the original intention.

correct for B and m shifters only, so you are right it is moot, I should have gone to that answer in the first place, i wanted to vent about the shifter, never could get it to index properly with the gears,
the bottom brackets are all different, and the ends would never work.
It felt too much like shifting, when you had to hit it 4 times to get it to park,
glad to get rid of it, when the cable got warm it seized or got hard to shift liked to go in between gears...
