ok so i put on my 88 the air pump eliminator bracket.
i took out the air control box, now what iv noticed is that on the left and right side of the engine on headers, is a long tube, so if you start on the right side of the engine there is that tube, then a solid hose that rins to the left side of the engine then splits off to the air control box..
i think these are called check valves ?
anyways , i was told you can remove the hoses, and you dont need to cap off the things on each side of the engine cause they are one way.
does this sound right ?
thanks all
Caps are available at Lowes,HD or any hardware store in the plumbing section. Yes you can leave the Air Check valves on and not cap them but it's much cleaner looking if you remove them and use the caps in place of them.
