I have a 93 vette. My A/C gets nice cold air, but I notice after running it that the passenger side carpet is wet. It's clear water... no anti-freeze. I think it might be a cloaked drain hose (or missing one). Can someone help me locate this so I can check it out. Gonna be a hot one this weekend and would like to make sure she's ready to go.
From underneath your car just back of the right front wheel look up until you see the right side catalytic converter, the fuel filter is just to the right of the converter, directly between them you will see the drain hole in the black plastic evaporator housing. Notice that a brown leaf is partially blocking mine in this picture.
I would probably try some GENTLE probing with a pipe cleaner. Remember the aluminum evaporator is in the housing and you sure don't want to puncture it. Don't be surprised if you get a shower if water has accumulated in the housing. Good luck, let us know how you make out.
