The 5W-30 doesn't break down that quick! I run it in my car with 245K miles and I've been changing oil on a 25,000 mile interval for the last 175K miles. After a recent head gasket replacement, I can tell you the cylinders look like they have 35K miles on them. The car accelerates same as new and uses no oil. Absolutely no ridge, in fact there are hone marks to the top.

Hey Rick93Z07 what northeast road eacing events ... we're 70 miles north of you just east of I79.
BTW I used 15-50 last year and went back to 10-30 Mobile 1 this oil change.

Hi Brian,
The upcoming events I'm participating in are being held at Pocono (Corvette CVCC) in the last weekend in April and Watkins Glen the weekend of May 25th (Porsche ARPCA). The Glen rocks in my book. I attend many open track, fun and educational events Ohio and east. Keep your eye on the Racing Section or go to: http://www.drivingevents.com

Thanks for the web address ... ever go to Nelson Ledges near Warren Ohio? A group of guys from my home town usually rents the track for a weekend in October.

Me and hrocks have been there over a hundred times. Try posting your Nelson Ledges events on the Racing Section when they come up. I'm looking forward to the Beaver Run Track near New Castle, PA opening this summer. Several clubs have days reserved already and the track has a Web Site.
