I had my right o2 sensor fail awile back and relpaced it with a bosch _ I'm no fan of bosch but it was all I could find at the time , my 1994 vette run great for about a 3 weeks then the sensor failed again h64 well I took it back and replaced it now a month later this one has failed. The car runs great when I replace them and then when they go bad it floods horribly until the check engine light come on then it runs fine. I have a delphi o2 sensor ordered I'm just wandering if there is anything that could be causing this? I have a hard time blaming anything because the car runs perfect when I replace them and it runs great when the computer goes into closed loop. Do you guys think I got two pieces of crap from bosch or could there be an underlying problem?

Come back to this thread after a couple of months if it makes it that long and let everyone know your findings.
I wonder what the voltage is it's getting? Maybe a bad wire or plug.
I have new wires, plugs, new opti, new coil and new icm on the car. When I put a new o2 sensor in it runs great for about a thousand miles if it had a bad wire or a bad connector shouldn't it fail almost immediately? I do know that I had to order the delphi for the right side and the bosch was not side specific. I don't know if that matters or not.

No, I meant the voltage to the O2 and the O2 plug, sorry.
IIRC, there are either 3 or 4 wires. 1 or 2 of them are ground. If it is a 3 wire, one is 12V, the other is ground and the other goes to the computer. If it is 4 wire, the same except one is ground.
