WATER LEAKS.
I have a small amount of water on the passenger side floor of my 87 C4. It appears to be coming under the insulation mat on the firewall. The water appears to be clear not antifreeze so I dont think its the heater core. Anybody have a similar situation, what was the solution.

Not sure how much this applies to vettes, but when my honda did that, it was because the A/C condensation drain hose was blocked and the condensation wasnt draining on to the road.

Mine was doing this half a year ago and the fluid appeared to be ordinary water. Turned out it was the heater core so I bypassed it (don't need it in TX even in the winter). No longer any problems...I would be surprised if it wasn't the heater core if it is leaking into the footwell on the passenger side.

I'll go with a/c condensation. There is a pee hole under the evaporator box on the firewall. Feel around underneath it and you should be able to find it. Use a tooth pick or other soft object to unplug it. Hopefully it isn't a/c oil from a leaking evaporator which tends to pickup all sorts of crud.
