Right now my starter is not getting any juice. I turn the key, and all the dash lights go out, and nothing happens.
I have done these things to the car that may have affected it since it last started:
-removed smog(taped up connectors)
-removed a/c
-added headers(had to disconnect starter) Probable cause
-changed intake
-plug wires
I am assuming that I need to check my connections on the starter again, but I am also wondering if the a/c had anything to do with it.
Do I need to do anything with the a/c plugs other than tape them or cap them?
Another possibility, I suppose, but should be fine. the batt is new and strong, I might have to think about the ground cable connection.
I think I can get it, I just tightened the ground, and hooked up the charger, and I got it to crank for a second, I will let it charge up, and try later.
OK, it turns over fine now.
thanks
anyone know about the a/c plug now?

Did you attach the ground wire from the ac harness (attached to frame rail) and a fuse in the fuse box (ac).
No, but I guess that is the step I am looking for. i know another member told me a long time ago on his 86' he had to do some work with the a/c wire harness to keep some stuff working.
