I ordered a set of headers 2 months ago on the $100 off deal. I still have not got them. I called about 3 weeks ago and they called back and said they were 2 weeks behind. Still no headers. Thanks for any help.

From what I gathered when I ordered mine and talked to who I think was the owner/operator, I got the impression thats it's a small operation, and that their parts are built to their specs, but were probably all outsourced. Which could make them subject to a number of things that could cause delays. I think mine took at least a month to get in. Very nice pieces though, you'll really like them. They've held up much better than the TPIS headers I used to have.

This is correct. Merle is the owner/opperator. the headers (and other items) are out sourced. the cost involved with getting them built means that Merle has to order them in baulk (I believe "at least" 10).

Business has been really slow for everyone; let alone the c4 vendors... Be patient and try to contact him again. These are awesome quality headers and he's a solid c4 supporting vendor.

Then the exotic muscle long tube headers must be REALLY nice pieces. Because Ive never heard anything bad about the TPIS long tubes. Only good.

Mine (TPIS headers) look great (other than some minor coating flake where I may have nicked it) after 8 years!

sorry to thread hijack.

Keep calling from different phone numbers.

In case they use caller ID.

I don't take Merle to be the type to avoid calls over a set of headers?

Merle is under a collections ban or was anyway if that matters. Times are tough for everyone these days.

I wanted to get his headers but ended up with TPIS because he was slow in returning my call. Kind of glad I went with TPIS now if it's going to take months to get a set of his. Hope he gets things worked out!

What does "under a collections ban" mean?

Uh..... might owe CF money. His last post was in Oct. 09. I don't really know that's just my .02. You can look at his profile and that is what it says, collection ban. Might be something entirely different. Seems like a really nice guy I hope he gets it all worked out.

Hey jackll, I like you ordered a set from Merle and they are on the way, they will come in next week I'm really excited. Like you it has been hard waiting, patience is not a strong point for me. But I will tell you any time you call Merle if he doesn't answer he will call you back, his operation might be a little slow. But he is a stand up guy & he will not the duck your call leave him your number and he will return your call. The reason I went with him is from this forum so many others recomended him and I trust what they said. Just call him and he will call you back.

What do you want us to do? Mine were a bit late but they put out a good product.

Did you leave a message, I think the longest he has taken to get back to me has been 1 maybe 2 days (could've been a weekend.)

I have went to other companies based on the responses I have gotten at particular companies. I wonder how often this happens and how much one company may lose over it.

I'm not saying to do this here just saying in general.

So much drama on these forums anymore.

Anyway to the OP, EM makes a damn good product. I went through the same exact thing when I ordered mine. When they finally showed up they were well worth the wait. I also ordered the extensions to couple the LTs to my Corsa Catback.

Oh , and when the 355 goes in I am definatly firing that puppy up with open LTs. Aimed right at the jackass's house across the street that insists on revving his quad up to 10k rpm everynight between 10-11pm
