How much should the back of the eng. move under a power brake in
Drive? Mine moves around an inch or more. At the trans. mount, it
moves 2 to 3 inches. Is this normal???? Thanks glassman74
None.
Should only see a little rotation with engine torque equal to how much the engine moves which should be very little unless the engine mounts are shot.
Engine should " twist ", maybe a 1" at most ;rather than lift up
Put a flat block of wood under your oil pan on a floor jack and see if your motor mounts are broken. Check both ends of the C beam bolts for being tight.

Mike,
What is the C beam? Is it the L shaped thing that goes from trans to diff.?
It is up/dn movement at the end of trans. Thanks. glassman74
Hey neighbor,
Its the long beam that mounts to the back of the trans and goes to the differential. C4's dont have conventional tranny mounts like older vettes. Check the bolts at the rear of the tranny. Their was a cool thread here with corvetteronw showing a C4 drive train without the body on it.
