Shake or Shudder What is wrong
Whether you call it a shake or shudder something is terribly wrong i believe it is in the transmission driveline area. When my car is shifting from 1-2 nothing happens 2-3 nothing happens but from 3-4 i get an awful shudder or shake or whatever for those of you who know what im talking about please narrow it down to what it could be. when i let off the accelerator it stops but continues when I depress the accelerator. Your torque converter lock up clutch is chattering. It happends when the converter tries to lock up in 4th and the clutch is shot. Better change torque converters before the crap takes out the tranny.
