Default Power Coupler question.

It is looking like I am going to have to get one of these and modify the opening to my factory airbox or do they make anything from my TB to my airbox since I am deleting my MAF?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33659

Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks.

You could go to your local hardware store and build one pretty cheap. Just takes two rubber couplings and some PVC.

Stretch one like this over the TB to 3" PVC

And then from the PVC to the air box use something like this

If you paint the PVC black it will blend in and look stock and it should be less than $20. Just an idea.

You might compare shipping when buying direct from mid-america: http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette-3-135-689.html

Note, however, that on my '92, it doesn't seem to quite fit, but I haven't taken a good look at it since then:

ABS pipe would be good too since it is already black

I agree. I need to try harder, but it sure didn't look like it was going to fit.

I don't know, but the $12 for the eBay link seemed high. Just pointed out because I think mid-america is the manufacturer (and I had a heck of a hard time finding this part on their website).
