1993 opti vented - piping??

HI
I am replacing my opti on my 93 and the new opti came with a vent tube at the bottom...has anyone done this and added a place to vent from?

I saw that also...I only have the one vacuum hose from the bottom of the opti..did you install yours on the duct work?

Thats kinda strange, look to see if there is a fresh air vent on the opti
If so then run that hose to a vaccum source. On my 92 I pulled vac from the driver side in the circuit to the EGR selenoid. Mine had a fresh air tube I just drilled a small hole in the snorkle for it.

Nope...no fresh air vent, just the one vent at the bottom..
