What times should i expect with the new 3.54s

Thanks!
I guess I need a tuneup then. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away I owned a '93 5.0 Ford. It had 3.08's (5spd), and was very lightly mod'ed - probably producing 240RWHP. My Vette seems only as responsive as that Mustang. Maybe, just maybe, it's because the Vette is such a fluid performer, and that Ford was so damn rough around the edges it just felt fast.
Please forgive me - I know I've sinned. :blueangel:

I'd say save your money for the gears and put a 2,800 tp 3,500 stall converter in....this forum hasn't picked up on converters yet.....I am often on LS1.com for obvious reasons (HEHE) and they have an excelelnt thread on driveline including much info on converters.........we should start a thread on driveline here in the C4 forum... :yesnod:

About when did you purchase your rearend? The reason I ask is because when I spoke with Justin yesterday he told me that they come with the side yolks but I thought the price was awfully cheap to include the side yolks.

The gears alone may put to much pressure on the stock converter and im assumig that could cause heat issues..

The cam is what determines the stall required for the converter, the cam also determines where the gear should be. Adding a high stall converter without changing the cam is a waste of time. More stall means more slippage at lower RPMs which means more heat 2800 to 3500 is way out of line on normal street driven Corvette. As for the strength of the gear, maybe, the guy that installed my 3.75 does nothing else but rear ends. Iv'e had several done by him and no problems, he sugested the 3.75 because the difference in cruise is only 200 RPM but the launch is much stronger. Just my 2 cents.
