Hello to all. I have a 1991 coupe, L98, auto, climate control, 37K miles. While replacing the water pump, I had the plugs, wires, dist cap and serpentine belt replaced. The throttle body was also cleaned. Before this work and since, the car sometimes will not start without holding the throttle slightly open. I found that if I disconnected and re-connected the TPS the car would start. I cleaned the connectors and replaced the TPS, yet my problem remains.
When driving the car, up to temp and A/C on, the engine may stall when stopping. This occurs sometimes with the A/C off. At speed, the car runs great, no skips or misses.
I have the shop manuals but not all the special electronic tools needed to test some circuits.
