Default Looking For Cheap OBD2 Scanner/Reader

Replaced my winter ride with a ride that has OBD2. Looking on Ebay, I see a few scanner/readers for a reasonable price.
Anyone bought any of the models and if so, are you happy with it ??

TIA

Hi Dan,
I bought the AutoXray, I think the model number is the 200. I had to buy an extra program to scan OBD-1 but it does OBD-2 right out of the box. I've used it on GM & Ford with great success. It does a good enough job to suit me but I don't use it that often either.

I just ordered one off Ebay $65, OBDII 2 LIVE from DIYDIAGNOSTICS.

It's been shipped and I should receive it Tue or Wed. I'll know then if it does what I need - just basic readings like Temps, Pressures, 02 activity, timing and other things as well. If not, back it goes - 30 day no hassle refund - Top Rated Ebay seller.

Thanks Chuck and Jake
Jake, that scanner is one I am looking at. For the $, I think I will just pick one up and live with what it can do.
Watching a few, should know which one I buy by the end of the day.
Jake, please still give me your review of the one comming your way.

I received a shipping confirmation email so, it shipped same day.

Sure, I'll be happy to give you my review after I play around with it for a little while. I'm just looking for basic type data; nothing as in-depth as the Test and Tune guys are into.

How have things been going, BTW?

As they say up here " Life Is Good In The Okanagan"
No complaints, summer has been hot and sunny, the vette is running strong and I am enjoying my new ride.

I bought a scanner last night on Ebay, $51. I will also add my review to this thread, soon after it arrives.

This Code Scanner is a handy device which specifically reads and erases trouble codes in your vehicles. It is a stand alone unit. This scanner easily connects to the diagnostic socket and will quickly find your trouble issues by reading the specific diagnostic trouble code ( DTC ), I/M Status, Freeze Frame Data and vehicle information. It displays the detailed description of the trouble code on a large all-in-one LCD. Moreover, this tool is able to display live data from your car's computer, such as current RPM, engine coolant temperature, vehicle speed, oxygen sensor data, and much more.

This scanner works on all five OBD II protocols:

SAE J1850 - PWM
SAE J1850 - VPW
ISO 9141-2
ISO 14230-4 - KWP 2000
ISO 15765-4 - CAN (Controller Area Network)

Yep. Mine arrived this morning; I ordered it Friday and it arrived this morning - FAST SERVICE!

I just came in from playing with it for a little while. It does the same things as yours does including MAP, Ignition Timing, TPS %, IAT, MAF, Vehicle Speed, etc.

I'm a happy camper since it does all the I want it to do.
