In many cases if you don't buy foreign products, you simply don't buy anything..There's no other choice. We did it to ourselves. If we would have rejected these items when they first showed up on our shores, we would still be buying American..

and your point is - ??? where's your TV made? how about your DVD player, your computer, your wifes microwave? i'm guessing you never bought anything made in china - ??? i doubt very seriously that HF had anything to do with gm, ford, and chrysler plant closings.
the wheels on my 2008 C6 are stamped "made in taiwan" - go figure... gm doesn't seem to have a problem using frickin' chinese parts, yet i sense you seem to have issues with me buying a chinese wrench -
- now this, i don't get...
there's probably is a best buy within a stones throw of those closed plants selling all that foreign made $hit too - them ba$tards!

IMHO Just a sad commentary on the state of the US economy, I guess..

. i fully understand your point of view. i don't make a habit of buying chinese stuff, but sometimes i don't have a choice, or if i need something for a quick and dirty fix. if anyone is to blame on the plant closings, it's our elected officials, big business and corporate management, and one other segment of business. i understand all the "it's a world economy" stuff, but it just seems one-sided. i'm beginning to think the only thing that's still made in america is the little stickers that say "made in china".
