Default Removing Dampener/Opti

Hi,
I finally got my WP off. Will have to write about that later.
Now tackling removing the dampener to get access to remove the opti.
I can't remember how I did this back in 2006.
Do you remove the balancer only or the balancer/hub together?
What is the best way to do this and what is the socket wrench size for the large hub center bolt?
Thanks,

The hub can stay on for OPTI removal. Stock "AFAIR" all four bolts are 5/8" (The 3 damper and 1 hub bolts)

Center bolt stays put. Remove the outer bolts. Then go under the car with a long shaft of some sort: Wood dowel, etc. I use a jumbo Snap-On screwdriver (it's more of a pry bar). Place the end of the shaft on the back side of the damper, as close to the hub as possible, and give it a few whacks with a mallet. You may have to work at it a bit, perhaps even rotating the crank such that you can whack it from different spots, but it'll come off. Don't whack the outer ring of the damper. Clean off all rust and grime, then apply a very thin coat of anti-seize to the hub before you reassemble it, and it'll pop off easily the next time.

Live well,
